BitcoinPoker.net Weekly Giveaway — Terms and Conditions
NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT OR DEPOSIT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR DEPOSIT DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
Effective 2026-09-06. These rules may be amended; see clause 16.
The promotion
The BitcoinPoker.net Weekly Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is a free prize draw run in weekly cycles. In each cycle one entry is selected at random and the entrant behind it receives a prize. Entering means you accept these rules in full.
Sponsor
The Giveaway is offered by the operator of bitcoinpoker.net (the "Sponsor", "we", "us"). Questions about the Giveaway, including any question about who is running it, go to sweepstakes@bitcoinpoker.net, which is read by the Sponsor.
Who may enter
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal gambling age in the place where you live, whichever is higher. You must be legally permitted to enter a free prize draw where you are, and legally permitted to hold an account at the participating site (each a "Site") you select. The Giveaway is void wherever it is prohibited or restricted by law.
Employees, officers and contractors of the Sponsor, and members of their immediate households, may not enter.
You are responsible for knowing whether entering, and whether gambling at your chosen Site, is lawful where you are. We make no representation that either is.
Entry period
Each cycle runs from Monday 00:00:00 UTC to the following Monday 00:00:00 UTC. All times are UTC. Entries received after a cycle closes are counted in the next cycle. The Giveaway runs weekly until we announce that it has ended.
How to enter
There are three ways to obtain entries:
- Automatic entry. Register a new account at a participating Site through our affiliate link or referral code and receive one entry. One entry per Site account, once, for the life of that account.
- Daily entry. Submit the form at bitcoinpoker.net/giveaway/enter for one additional entry. Limit one per person per UTC calendar day.
- Free entry by email. Send one email per calendar week to sweepstakesentry@bitcoinpoker.net giving your contact information and the Site on which you wish to receive the prize. No purchase, deposit, account or payment of any kind is required. Limit one entry per person per calendar week.
All entries are equal
An entry obtained by email under clause 5(c) has exactly the same chance of winning as an entry obtained by any other method. Entries are not weighted, ranked or ordered by how they were obtained, by whether you have deposited, by how much you have wagered, or by anything else.
Odds
The chance of any single entry winning is one divided by the total number of eligible entries in that cycle. That total is published with every result at bitcoinpoker.net/giveaway/results.
The prize
One prize per cycle. The value varies from week to week and is announced with each published result. The prize is awarded as chips, free spins or equivalent credit on the Site the winner selected when entering.
Substitution. Where the winner cannot lawfully hold an account at their selected Site, or where crediting that Site is not practical, we may instead pay an equivalent or greater value in Bitcoin. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at any time. There is no cash alternative except at our discretion.
The prize is funded by the Sponsor. Any taxes or charges arising from receiving it are the winner's responsibility.
How the winner is selected
Before each cycle opens we generate a random server seed and publish its SHA-256 hash. When the cycle closes we take the hash of the first Bitcoin block mined at or after the closing time — a value that cannot be known in advance. The winning entry is then determined arithmetically from those two values and the number of entries.
After each draw we publish the server seed, the block height and hash, the entry count and a digest of the ordered entry list, so that any person may independently re-derive the result. The method is set out in full at bitcoinpoker.net/giveaway/results.
Notifying the winner
We contact the winner by email within 3 days of the draw, at the address given with the winning entry. The winner must respond within 7 days. If they do not, or if they are found ineligible, the prize is forfeited and a replacement winner is drawn.
An automatic entry under clause 5(a) may have no email address attached to it. Where that entry wins, the winning username is published at bitcoinpoker.net/giveaway/results and the same 7-day claim window runs from the date of publication.
We may require a winner to confirm their identity, age and eligibility, and to confirm control of the Site account named in the entry, before a prize is paid.
What we publish
For each cycle we publish the total number of entries, the Site the winner selected, the prize value, and the verification data described in clause 9.
We publish a masked form of the winner's username (for example
ch•••k) unless the entrant expressly consented to publication of the full username when entering. We do not publish email addresses. Entering does not otherwise oblige you to take part in any publicity.Disqualification
We may disqualify entries or entrants, and withhold or reclaim a prize, for:
- using more than one identity, email address or account to obtain extra entries;
- automated, scripted or bulk entry;
- giving false, misleading or incomplete information;
- entering from a place where participation is unlawful, or where the selected Site cannot accept you;
- self-referral, referral abuse or bonus abuse at a Site;
- interfering with the operation or integrity of the Giveaway.
Disqualifications are recorded and applied before a draw. Our decision on eligibility is final.
Your information
To enter we collect your email address, your chosen Site, your username on that Site, and whether you consented to publication. We record the time of entry. We store a salted, non-reversible digest of your IP address — never the address itself — solely to limit automated entry.
We use this only to run the Giveaway and to contact a winner. We do not sell it. We keep entry records for as long as we need them to demonstrate that past draws were run correctly, and no longer. If you are in the UK or EEA you have rights of access, correction, erasure and objection; write to sweepstakes@bitcoinpoker.net. Full detail is in our privacy notice.
We are independent of the Sites
The Giveaway is run solely by the Sponsor. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Duel, SwC Poker, or any other Site. We are an independent affiliate: we earn commission when someone registers at a Site through our link, and we fund the prizes ourselves.
Your account at any Site is governed by that Site's own terms, which are nothing to do with us. We are not responsible for a Site's bonus rules, wagering requirements, account decisions, or availability.
Limitation of liability
The Giveaway is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for: entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received; technical failures of any kind; the acts or omissions of any Site or payment network; or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these rules excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and cancellation
We may amend, suspend or cancel the Giveaway, or these rules, at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date, and do not apply retrospectively to a cycle that has already closed. If we cancel a cycle that has already opened, we will still draw and pay that cycle.
Responsible gambling
Gambling carries a real risk of loss and is not a way to make money. Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose. If it stops being entertainment, stop. Free, confidential help is available at BeGambleAware.org. Entering this Giveaway never requires you to gamble.
Not a lottery
No consideration is required to enter. Entry is available free of charge to every eligible person by the method in clause 5(c), and every entry carries identical odds regardless of how it was obtained.
Language
These rules are published in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only; in the event of any conflict, the English version governs.
