Is SwC Poker still active?

Yes. 129 players are online right now across 57 tables. Review sites quote figures between 150 and 450 — none of them are measuring, and one page still ranking for "is SwC dead" is about a shutdown that happened in 2015.

Why the numbers you have seen disagree. Affiliate reviews state player counts once and never revisit them, so the same page can claim 450 concurrent players years after it was written. The count below is read from the lobby continuously and kept, which is why it can be checked rather than asserted. Over 6,090 readings the average has been 121, ranging 1–179.

What the numbers mean

Players online counts everyone logged into the client, including people sitting out or railing. Actively playing is the subset actually in hands — the number that decides whether a game runs. If you want to know whether you can get a seat, watch that one.

Since we started collecting, the average has been 121 online, ranging from 1 to 179.
